WHOEVER IS FOUND WITHOUT SIN CAN CAST THE FIRST STONE

Keep in mind that in the Old Testament God was speaking to His chosen people, a people different from the rest of the world who were suppose to be Holy as God is Holy (Deuteronomy 7:6), therefore they were allowed to stone homosexuals or anyone who did not obey God's laws so these abominations would not spread among His special chosen Holy people. Therefore, anyone among His Holy people who was found without sin were given the right to stone those found to be sinful.

Jesus also made this very clear in the New Testament when he prevented the people to stone the woman who was found guilty of prostitution when he said "Anyone among you who is found without sin can cast the first stone.", Meaning, that none of these particular group of people that accused this woman of committing sin had the right to condemn her since they were all sinners.

And another thing. Since Christ was sinless why didn't he pick up stones to stone her, but instead said to her in John 8:10 "Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?"

Then in John 8:11 She replied, "No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

And don't forget that Christ hang around sinners (Matthew 9:10-13, Mark 2:15-17, and Luke 5:29-32), not to condemn them, but to set their ways straight. Christ was not sent to gather God's Holy people, but instead he was send to gather back those who have fallen from the truth, this is why the Bible teaches us that he was sent for "the lost sheep", those who had fallen away from God's ways, who lost their Holiness they once had and teach them how to be Holy again, how to have a special relationship with God, according to God's ways and not according to the evil ways of the world. And remember, we were taught to lift eachother up, not destroy them. God is the last judge!

Scripture verses that talk about lifting each other up include 1 Thessalonians 5:11, which encourages believers to build each other up, and Hebrews 10:24, which calls them to stir up one another to love and good works. Other verses like Galatians 6:2 and Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 highlight the importance of supporting one another by bearing burdens and helping each other in times of falling.

Here are a few specific scriptures:
    • 1 Thessalonians 5:11:
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing". This verse directly calls for mutual encouragement and building each other up.

  • Hebrews 10:24-25:
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together... but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near". This passage encourages believers to actively inspire each other toward good actions and to not forsake fellowship.

  • Galatians 6:2:
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ". This verse speaks to the act of sharing in the difficulties of others, providing mutual support.

  • Ecclesiastes 4:9-10:
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up". This passage from the Old Testament emphasizes the strength and benefit of community, particularly in helping those who are struggling.

  • "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear". This verse advises that our words should be used to construct and provide grace to others, not to tear them down.

(John 13:34) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

(Ephesians 4:29-32) 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

(2 Corinthians 1:3) All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort.
