HOW TO BE ONE WITH GOD & CHRIST!
1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial/heavenly bodies, and bodies terrestrial/earthly bodies: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There are only two types of "glory" according to scripture.
YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE! You need to relearn what you were previously taught and be ready and willing to allow God's Holy Spirit to teach you all things, that will bring in remembrance all that Christ has taught us (John 14:26).
(Titus 3:5-7) "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life".
In theology, "regeneration" is the process by which God gives a person "new life", or "born again from above," from a state of separation from God. This means you should "relearn what you previously were made to believe" and become again like a little child to relearn what the Holy Spirit teaches, which is also the Spirit of Truth, and not what false churches teach.
"I am one witness, and my Father who sent me is the other" <= Two distinct beings, not three, who are one in thought as we also should be, as spoken by Jesus himself.
(John 17:21, 22) 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
When we are "born again from above" (John 3:3), we become totally a new creation. This old nature has been completely changed (2 Cor. 5:17). Meaning, that you have to let go of what was previously instilled in you from the false teachings of the man made churches of this world, which are many and don't agree with eachothers teacings.
Jesus gives us a perfect example of this in (Luke 5:37-38) 37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. 38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
(1 Corinthians 15:35) But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: ... (1 Corinthians 15:31) "for we die daily" for not following the false teachings of the man made religious sects that exist in this world and distort Christ's teachings by mingling God's Word with traditions of mankind.
You need to relearn, through the teachings of the Holy Spirit, what you were previously taught.
John 17:5 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.
"the glory which thou gavest me I have given them" means 'same glory".
Jesus Christ already shared the same glory with His Father. Jesus gives the same glory to His saints because they are all one with the Father! The glory that Jesus gives to the Twelve and to the future believers is the same glory He shared with His Father.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Glory here means the position or rank in relation to others. Jesus Christ knew that he was one with God from all eternity. As the Son of God he was eternally in God and God in him. As the Son of God he was united with the whole of humanity and creation. So he is one with God and one with the creation. This is the glory that God has given to him from all eternity.
Jesus Christ gave the possibility of same glory to everyone who follow his teachings so that everyone discovers unity with God and unity with creation. "They all may be one, even as we are one."
Being one with God and Christ means being united in one spirit with our mind, heart, and soul, to be able to fulfill God's will.
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ!"
All praises belong to God in the name of Jesus Christ!
