Was Adam the first human?

Adam and Eve were not the first humans because Cain found a wife outside The Garden of Eden. There's a big difference between human breath, and Holy Spirit breath.

There’s one simple verse that comes straight from the Bible that shows that Adam and Eve could not be the first humans. Genesis 4:14 reads "Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer ON THE EARTH, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

One major point is that in Genesis 1 it says God "CREATED" them male and female" and told them to multiply and replenish the earth, but in Genesis 2 it says God "FORMED" man out of the dust of the ground".

Therefore, God took one man from His creation in Genesis 1, MOLDED HIM to be special person unto Himself (Deuteronomy 7:6), by breathing His Holy Spirit in him. Just like Jesus did in (John 20:21-23) when he breathed the Holy Spirit into his disciples before sending them into the world to preach God's future earthly kingdom.

For context, this quote is from Cain when he is responding to God’s punishment for killing his brother.

Now, if we were to believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans, at this point Adam, Eve, and Cain are the only people on the earth. So, who is he worried will kill him? Surely not his parents, as some will then go on to say that he made love with Eve. Even when taken as an entirely literal historical account, it is impossible that Adam and Eve were the first humans, or at very least impossible that they were the only humans existing at this point.

Cain found a wife outside The Garden of Eden when God threw him out of the special garden (along with Adam and Eve), made for Adam and his generations, meaning there were others, humans/mortal beings, that lived outside The Garden of Eden.

(Genesis 4:14- 16) Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; AND FROM THY FACE SHALL I BE HID; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. 15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. 16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

NOTE: To be out of God's presence means to no longer have His spiritual fellowship and blessing in his new life. It means, since the fall of Adam and Eve, we have forfeited any intimate communion with God and can no longer experience the comfort, direction, purpose, and power that comes from His Spirit dwelling richly within us.

(2 Corinthians 5:8) reminds believers that our ultimate home is not in this world, but in heaven. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Hence, we are called to be in the world but not of the world (Romans 12:2).

As heavenly citizens, our allegiance is to God, not the world: “Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:20‭–‬21). When Christ returns, our earthly bodies will be exchanged for bodies fit for heaven.

On the 4th day of Creation God said...

(Genesis 1:20-22) And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, WHICH THE WATERS BROUGHT FORTH ABUNDANTLY, AFTER THEIR KIND, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

According to (Genesis 1:20-22), all living creatures came forth from the water, besides water creatures, also came forth earth creatures, and sky creatures, EACH AFTER THEIR OWN KIND. All moving creatures that have life evolved from water, so this must also include humankind. This means that Gods' 6 day creations were not earthly days, but thousands of years in our time.

Based on scientific consensus, life evolved from water.

The formamide theory suggests life could start without water, favoring polymer bond formation. It reacts to form nucleobases, amino acids, and nucleic acids, backed by experiments. The formamide theory, while interesting, isn't widely accepted, and water-based origins have stronger evidence.

In Leviticus 11:20 the King James Version we have even, "all fowls that creep, going upon all four," Leviticus 11:21, "every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four."
In Genesis Chapter 1 it says GOD CREATED MALE AND FEMALE and told them to multiply and replenish the earth. He also told them that EVERY TREE BARING FRUIT FROM THE WHOLE FACE OF THE EARTH can be used for food (Genesis 1:29, 30).

But in Genesis 2:15 it does not say that God created Adam, but instead it says very clearly "GOD TOOK A MAN (Genesis 2:15) AND FORMED HIM (Genesis 2:7)" out of the dust of the ground and breathed life into him, and made a special Garden for him and Eve, and that in this special garden they are restricted from eating from one special tree, the tree of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16, 17).

Genesis 1 ends on the 6th day, and on the 7thd day God finished His creation and rested (Genesis 2:3), after God created all that is in heaven (celestial bodies) and all that were meant to be earthbound (terrestrial bodies). Therefore Adam was molded on the 8th day, as a new creature ().

1 Corinthians 15:40 · ESV There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another.

The Bible uses the terms "celestial" and "terrestrial" to differentiate between heavenly and earthly bodies. In 1 Corinthians 15:40, Paul contrasts the glory of celestial bodies (sun, moon, stars) with the glory of terrestrial bodies (humans, animals, plants). This distinction highlights the different natures and glories of different types of bodies, including those in the resurrection.

It clearly says this in the beginning of Genesis 2. When God took a man from His creation, God started to form the man Adam out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the Holy Spirit, which is different from our mortal breath. Therefore Adam was formed on the 8th day. A new creation, which was born again from above.

The concept of "a new creature in Christ" refers to a spiritual transformation that individuals experience upon accepting Jesus Christ. It's rooted in the Bible, specifically in 2 Corinthians 5:17, which states, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.". This verse highlights a radical change, where individuals are no longer bound by their previous selves and are instead transformed into a new person in Christ.
This is why Jesus also made it clear when he said "You must be born again from above/άνωθεν, of water and spirit (John 3:3-17).

Genesis 2:15 states: "The LORD God TOOK A MAN and placed him into the garden of Eden to work it and keep it."
Mankind must have existed before Adam, otherwise from where did god "take a man" from?

How come the created people of Genesis 1 were able to eat from all the fruit baring trees of the whole earth, but in the Garden they were restricted from eating from one special tree?

I believe the couple in Genesis 1 evolved from the waters, like all living creatures, and that GOD TOOK ONE MAN from among them (after they multiplied, which took years and not a day, because a thousand days for us, is one day in Gods' time).

(2 Peter 3:8) tells us that one day of God's time is a thousand years of man's time. Therefore, when we read Genesis 1, it is not telling us that God created in six 24-hour days. Each day in God's time might just be a reference to long periods of time on the Earth.

This makes more sense, because Cain was able to find a wife outside the special garden. This means that the breath God breathed into Adam is not the same breath we humans have. The breath Adam received from God was from the Holy Spirit, just like Jesus, when he breathed the Holy Spirit into his disciples before sending them to preach God's future Kingdom on earth.

It's important to recognize that the Holy Spirit will never speak anything to us that doesn't align with scripture. If it conflicts with anything in the Bible, then it is not from the Spirit of God. Like Jesus said, the Spirit will be with us forever and will bring in our remembrance all that he had taught us (John 14:26).

All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3)
