I will have mercy, and not sacrifice

Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Hsa 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Zec 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

Hsa 12:6 Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.

Who will inherit eternal life?

Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26  He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27  And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28  And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Who should we consider as "our neighbors" and love them as ourselves?

Luk 10:29  But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30  And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31  And by chance there came downA CERTAIN PRIEST that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32  And likewise a LEVITE, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33  But a certain SAMARITAN, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34  And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35  And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36  Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37  And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

TWO BAPTISMS

WATER BAPTISM: The baptism of repentance for the remission of sins

Mar 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

What is required for water baptism?

Luk 3:3  And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4  As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5  Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6  And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. 7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 9  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 10  And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? 11  He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.12  Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? 13  And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.

In other words, Jesus told the republicans to be fair with their wages and not to ask for more that is required of the people.

In order to receive "the baptism by him/Christ", first we need to admit our wrong ways and repend from following the corrupt ways of the world. Water baptism is for repentance for the remission of sins, which is required before we receive Christ's baptism. John baptised with water, but Christ baptised with the Holy Spirit. As it is written!

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN OF WATER AND OF SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

WATER BAPTISM

Ezekiel 36:24  For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

SPIRIT BAPTISM

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Can you tell the difference between water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism?

Mat 21:23  And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24  And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25  The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? 26  But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27  And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

NOTICE: Jesus said that what he did was by the authority God gave him. In order to be able to receive "his baptism", we need to do as Christ did, carry our own cross, because in the end, on the day of God's judgement, we will be rewarded by our Father in heaven according to the ways we chose to abide in.

Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Mar 10:35  And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. 36  And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 10:37  They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38  But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? 39  And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40  But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

Should those who choose to fight in man made wars be water baptised?

Luk 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Here, Christ is telling the soldiers of war that in order for them to be able to be water baptised they need to stop spilling inocent blood in their man made wars, not to lie or deceite the enemy, and that they should be satisfied for what they already have, by not asking a recompense for worthy acts or retribution for wrongdoing. "the wages of sin is death"; "virtue is its own reward".

FALSE LAWS, ORDINANCES & TRADITIONS OF MANKIND

Jesus often spoke against the "the elders", the scribes and Pharisses because they mislead many with their false traditions. Just like many religions are doing to this day. They follow laws, ordinances, and traditions of mankind instead of THE WORD OF GOD.

Mat 15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2  Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. 3  But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Mat 15:7  Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Which commandments hold all the laws of God that the prophets spoke about?

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38  This is the first and great commandment. 39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

When you hear people tell you that you need to follow all the commandments and laws mentioned in the Torah, do not be deceived. Remember, our thoughts and our ways are not God's thoughts and ways. The stories written in the Bible are there for our learning. They show us that many of God's people adopted Egyptian traditons and passed them on to their generations as God's laws and ordinances. As it is written!

Lev 18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

Still, many do not have eyes to see and ears to hear. As they did then, they also do to this day. As it is also written!

Mal 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

They were so blinded by the false teachings of their leaders that they could not understand the difference between God's ways and their ways. Only Jesus understood the writtings of the Torah, because he received his instructions and guidence from above. This is why Jesus said "Keep my commandments", because his doctrines came from the Father in heaven.

Jhn 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

Col 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Jesus said that he is the way the truth and the life because only his doctrines are the truth that expose all false teachings and help us understand God's ways. When we keep his doctrines we become complete in him. Then and only then can we be "quickened together with him", that is, we can be born again from above.

Col 2:10  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

SPIRITUAL BAPTISM: Is by "the quickening spirit". This is why Christ kept saying "Ye must be born again from above" (John 3:7). The first resurrection represents the death of our old sinful self that is required of us so we can be born again in the spirit. Those who are born again in the spirit they become Lords of heaven, because they represent God's image and likeness, as Christ does. There is a natural body, and there is a spritual body.

Jhn 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

What is required in order to be spiritually baptised from above?

1Cr 15:42  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43  It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Act 19:1  And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3  And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4  Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5  When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

The "resurrection of the dead" is the first death, death to selfputting an end to our old corrupt worldy ways. Although we still live in the world, we should not follow after the corrupt ways of the world, but instead we should resist taking part in their evil ways (John 17:15).  We should not vote for people to rule over us that do not represent God's ways. This is what it means "to bear the image of the heavenly", to be holy, in the image and likeness of our heavenly Father.

Jam 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

When we become able to resist the evil temptations of this world and its corrupt ways, then we take a new form, we become "a new man in Christ" by being "born again from above" with a new spirit in us, the "quickening spirit".

Col 2:12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

2Cr 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1Cr 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46  Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47  The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48  As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

This is the part where the second death has no hold on us.

1Cr 15:54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Who will be partakers of the second death?

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Blessed are they who have eyes to see and ears to Hear, for their names are written in heaven.

Luk 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 22  All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. 23  And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: 24  For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Amen

Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will understand!

Sacrificial Confusion

OUR DESTINY IS REVEALED IN THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

It is very important to know what was kept INSIDE and ON THE SIDE of the Ark of the Covenanant in order to undeerstand what happens to those who keep God's ways and those who do not.

Deu 31:9  And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel. 10  And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, 11  When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. 12  Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:

What was kept IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK of the covenant of the LORD? God's laws and ordinances that Moses wrote in the book of Deuteronomy.

Deu 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25  That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

What was kept INSIDE THE ARK of The Covanent? The Ten Commandments

1Ki 8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

And where is the Ark of His Testament now?

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

To learn more about The Ark of The Covenant, and to determine your destiny, read Jeremiah Chapter 3

IS THERE A HELL FIRE?

Don't believe the false teachings of burning in hell. Jesus never spoke of such place because it was never in God's heart, and Jesus always did what was in his Father's heart.

Jer 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Jesus used the word "Hades" as a sign, not as a real place that tortures people after they die. If Jesus believed in Hades that would make him pagan. He only used that word to discribe what happens in the souls of those who who choose to abide by their own evil ways, while they are still alive and are able to repend when they hear the truth, because that was the language the people understood at that time, since many believed in the ways of paganism.

God's fire is not mankinds fire. God's fire is symbolic, it represents refinement.

Zec 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

1Pe 4:12  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

1Pe 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

WILL EVERY EYE SEE CHRIST ON HIS SECOND COMING?

Jhn 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Every eye will see Christ in their teachings, but very few will recognise him on his second coming when he will appear in them, because few are they who uderstand his speech.

Jhn 14:22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

This can only be revealed by the Spirit of Truth

1Jo 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
